Sunday Post is a weekly blog meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer and is a place to share weekly goings on. I'd love to share my week with you!
Instead of being gloomy here this week, it's been downright cold and last night it snowed! I'm ready for spring, I hope it comes soon. All the buds on the trees suggest to me that it's coming, but who could tell with the 35 degree days?
I did not end up making the Kolaches... yet, but I'm planning to do it soon. If I make them, I'll share the recipe. My husband is chomping at the bit to get his hands on some good old Texas Kolaches. Otherwise, this week has been busy with grading for my university class and running around doing errands. I went to New York last weekend with a friend, then Sunday I met with another friend on Zoom. So, at least my busy week has been filled with friends!
The one thing I didn't have this week was time to read, which was a real bummer. Work just completely took over my life, but that happens as the semester draws to a close. I'll have plenty of reading time when my classes are through at the end of the month.
What I'm reading this week
When Jeanie's aunt gifts her the beloved Pumpkin Spice Café in the small town of Dream Harbor, Jeanie jumps at the chance for a fresh start away from her very dull desk job.Logan is a local farmer who avoids Dream Harbor's gossip at all costs. But Jeanie's arrival disrupts Logan's routine and he wants nothing to do with the irritatingly upbeat new girl, except that he finds himself inexplicably drawn to her. Will Jeanie's happy-go-lucky attitude win over the grumpy-but-gorgeous Logan, or has this city girl found the one person in town who won't fall for her charm, or her pumpkin spice lattes…The Pumpkin Spice Café is a cozy romantic mystery for fans of Gilmore Girls, with a grumpy x sunshine dynamic, a small-town setting and a HEA guaranteed!

🐦⬛ Review: Shadows so Cruel by Liv Zander
🐎 Review: Swift and Saddled by Lyla Sage
In the mail this week
I loved them so much, I bought the paperbacks for Lyla Sage's Rebel Blue Ranch novels. The last book will be here on the 15th and I cannot wait! So far, I've been listening to them on Audible, but I love the covers so much and the stories are so good, I had to add them to my permanent collection!
That's it for this week! I hope you all have a lovely week and had lots of time to read.
Those covers are fun and I have only heard great things about Rebel Blue Ranch sereis. It's been cold here too. I really hope this week is warmer.
