This week has been productive, even though I've been sick for a week and a half. They say I have a viral upper respiratory infection, so that's made keeping up with things a bit hard, but it gave me some time to start working on my instagram account! If you're on Insta, I'd love a follow.

What I'm reading this week

I started reading Feathers so Vicious by Liv Zander, but didn't get as far as I'd like because I have a 5 1/2 month old puppy that keeps me busy, on top of work and being sick. Have you read this? I'm enjoying it so far. It's a dark romantasy and book 1 of 2. 

Feathers so Vicious is a full-length dark fantasy romance novel, and book one in the Court of Ravens duet. The two-part story features two morally gray raven shifters, a young woman at the mercy of their shadows, and a HEA. This world contains dark elements, violence, and themes some may find disturbing. Readers can find more detailed information on the author's website. What this book doesn't contain is a hero - because villains do it better. And two do it better than one…

In the Mail this week

I got some books from book outlet, a book box from Reveal Book Box, and a new Kindle this week! My old Kindle was getting so slow, bless it's heart, so it was time to get myself a new one. I got the Metallic Raspberry Kindle Paperwhite and it's so fast. I forgot turning pages could be so fast. It's also pretty, which won't matter much soon when I put a case on it, but for now it looks really sleek.
